Teeth grinding (also called Bruxism) is a common habit that occurs mostly during the night whilst asleep.

This occurs most often when a person is experiencing anxiety or stress and is an involuntary action which can cause a variety of dental problems.

Patient’s may find eating hard/chewy foods uncomfortable or notice that their teeth are wearing down. Long term consequences of teeth grinding may result in cracked teeth and tooth wear.
